Team MDK Reflections

Mac's Reflection

I liked that way I organized my blog. I summarized what I learned about personal finance and periodic function through my own experience of working on this project. I also reflected on how I thought i could use what i learned to teach personal finance and periodic function in my class. I think this organization scheme has added a lot of personal learning. I think I did well on this project. It is hard to think about the weaknesses of my project. I think that I could have found more information on this topic through several other sources. I found the information that I needed but I am sure there is certainly more information out there that could have helped me develop my understanding of my topic more. Overall, I think this project was a very valuable experience personally and professionally. I think it was a great way for me to apply everything that we were learning in class and reading about into a real situation.

Don's Reflection

I chose these units because I had problems with the Vector Unit and did very well on the Matrices Unit. I wanted to study and do the project at the same time, so I decided to do it on the Vectors Unit, I managed to use my time well in the last minute of doing the project. While I was in the process of doing the project and explaining what was needed to be done, I slowly understood more about both Units. When trying to explain what was being asked from the questions and how to solve it, it shows that you understand the concept. Also working in groups helped me in a lot of ways, it helped me understand each concept better and now I can go and teach others which is the highest level of learning, thanks Mr. K!

Kyle's Reflection

The questions I created is related to a basketball player named Kobe Bryant. I chose this concept due to the fact that I'm a huge basketball fan, and I thought it would be a good idea to relate it to my project. I also chose units that I am most comfortable with, so I can show my understanding and also explain in much greater detail to you guys. While in the process of creating my own questions I also learned that cooperation with your team is ideal in accomplishing such a big task such as this project. I also learned how to explain questions so that others may understand the concept even better. I enjoyed working on this project, I also loved being in Mr. K's class, as he was always keeping us on our feet, and did not let anyone be left behind. I enjoyed working with classmates in groups as it made Units of the course much easier to understand. Overall this class was amazing and Mr. K's taught us in a easy and understandable way.
